The UDP will now be configured to import any combination of loading schema(s). This new feature enables institutions to import their Canvas/LMS data without an SIS data integration. This allows institutions to backfill an SIS data integration at their own pace.

Configurable loading schemas

The UDP will now be configured to import any combination of loading schema(s). In practice, this means that institutions starting out with the UDP can immediately see their Canvas/LMS data available in their UDP context store while, in parallel, they work on an SIS data integration. Previously, providing the required elements of the SIS loading schema was a precondition to loading in context data from Canvas. Benefits:

• Members starting out with the UDP can immediately begin working with Canvas/LMS data in the context store.

• Canvas/LMS-sourced events are immediately able to be enriched.
