Unizin will begin archiving daily CD2 canvas_logs exports.
Details
Starting 4/18/2024 Unizin will archive daily snapshots of the tables under the canvas_logs namespace in CD2. This currently only includes the web_logs table.
This dataset is meant for historical audit purposes and will not be visible to users by default. If you require access to this dataset contact our support team at [email protected].
Jobs to retrieve snapshots will trigger at 10:00 UTC daily and will contain data from the previous day. For example, the job that runs at 2024-04-19 10:00:00 UTC will retrieve data from 2024-04-18 00:00:00 UTC until 2024-04-19 00:00:00 UTC.
Historical data will be stored as parquet files for a period of 305 days (~10 months) before being deleted compared to the default retention limit in Canvas of 30 days.
Currently no backfill of data is planned, if you require a specific date range of data from before 4/18/2024 please reach out to our support team via email at [email protected].
